DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, June 28\, the Arnold Branch of the Jefferson County Library\, 1701 Missouri State Road\, will host "Fifties Flashback"\, A Sock Hop featuring the entertainer "Sock Hop Smiles". This event is for Seniors\, Age 60+. The Sock Hop is free and lunch will be served with a $4.00 suggested donation. Lunch will include a Root Beer Float served in a souvenir glass! This event is sponsored and supported by Jefferson County Library and Aging Ahead (Formerly MEAAA). "Financial assistance for this project has been provided by the Missouri Association of Community Arts Agencies and the Missouri Arts Council\, a state agency\, with Challenge America funds from the National Endowment for the Arts\, who believes that a great nation deserves great art. Program will take place from 10:00 a.m.   1:00 p.m. in the Senior Center inside the Arnold Recreation Center. Registration required.
